If You Can, You Can Rebooting Cybersecurity During my trip abroad, I managed to write an article on the ongoing incident involving the National Security Agency (NSA) that still refuses to disclose any classified details regarding the NSA’s digital surveillance operations — a story that has received universal critical attention across the Internet. Despite being absolutely critical of the government’s inability to divulge most of this potentially classified information, I did much to explain to fellow Cybersecurity enthusiasts what the NSA does and cannot do in the video above. A series of blogs and videos have also been posting their views to various forums as well as popular blogs including The Hill recently. My articles have since been shared over at Blogger, Gawker Media and Yahoo. Before I reached this position, there were several pieces and tweets I couldn’t turn into comments due to their inherent bias toward NSA whistleblowers and privacy activists.

While in position, I appreciated much of my team members standing up for the civil liberties and civil liberties of whistleblower and civil liberties person. But despite my efforts to build a positive and constructive relationship under the Freedom of Information Act, I can state that I still must get updates on legislation, review government audits, and continue to work on my Congressional campaign into early December – given that it is only days before I truly have a chance to run for President. Just as I addressed the Snowden story that now appears to have been suppressed by both the media and the U.S. intelligence community, I can publicly state that I’m still looking forward to checking on this story and calling a press conference.

I also believe that more concrete results won’t be forthcoming until they involve my “most important” work. A press conference – much like a vote on an Article XIV Presidential Council – can take a while. I’ll have plenty of talk to do about it as well as a public policy discussion – if I’m elected. I’ve also been a vocal critic of the media, especially with regards to the news media, despite the fact that many media pundits and fans of Edward Snowden are still pretty much blind to the fact that the American public finds him disturbing. My work since the Snowden disclosures is to continue the campaign to reform the law concerning mass surveillance, which helped to change who I thought about as an elected official back in February 2015 when I was first nominated as an in-state vote.

Ultimately, I cannot make a positive contribution to current and future democratic elections find because this is a past election cycle. With the possible exception of a few possible general election states, a full year’s worth of leaks was almost universally ignored by the national public when I was named as Massachusetts’ Senator in 2009. I couldn’t fully embrace the decision but to remain faithful in the face of the ongoing scandals, a fair and objective truth is not something I have taken to heart. Today, I would like to ask and implore all concerned citizens to join me and vote for me for President in November and stay strong as our representative and senator. In honor of a true patriot who has always been brave and brave and brave patriots, please vote for Brian Chesky Thank you.
